McLaren - Mobile Phone Charger Units for Silverstone Grand Prix July 2011

Our client asked us to manufacture 10 charger units of which 4 were required for the British grand prix.  Each unit comprises of 6 drawers containing connection cables for well known phones such as iPhone, Nokia, Samsung.  Each drawer is opened by obtaining a secure Vodaphone smart card, the customer can then close the drawer whilst the phone charges and can only be re-opened using the same smart card.  

Every unit has an integral 21" interactive touch screen for information.
